Day 2 Lindau
After breakfast, embark on a shared boat trip on Lake Constance to the town of Friedrichshafen, accompanied by a private guide. This city is most famous for being the place where Graf Ferdinand von Zeppelin developed and built his zeppelins, propelling the history of aviation forward. Entrance to the museum is included. Upon returning to Lindau, either choose a private vineyard tour and wine tasting at Weingut Haug - or spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Day 3 Lindau, Garmisch-Parenkirchen
After breakfast, check out of your Lindau hotel and begin your drive along the German Alpine Road on route to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Along the way you'll have the options to visit some of Germany's most famous castles with the Konigsticket, providing entrance to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Tour both of these exemplary castles nestled upon perches of the Bavarian Alps at your own pace. Additionally, you have the option to visit Linderhof Palace, the opulent palace built by King Ludwig II in Rococo style takes clear inspiration from Versailles and is replete with artistic ornamentation that is sure to impress. Continue your drive to Garmisch-Partenkirchen to check-in to your hotel, where the rest of the day will be at your leisure. This alpine town is towered over by Germany' largest peak, the Zugspitze, and is a popular destination for winter sports and hiking year round.

Day 4 Garmisch-Parenkirchen
After breakfast, choose between two of the following tours for the day: Visit Oberammergau and Kloster Ettal: Drive to the quaint and charming town of Oberammergau. Nestled within an Alpine valley, this town is famous for the Oberammergau Passion Play performed every 10 years but the town's traditional architecture and magnificent frescoes are not to be overlooked. Next, travel to the nearby Ettal Abbey - which upon first glance may appear more like a castle than an abbey! The monks of the abbey make use of the large compound to make beer in the brewery, house guests in a hotel, distil spirits in the distillery, and more. Add on optional tours to the Ettal Abbey including a private tour of the Basilica Church, a private tour of the brewery, and a private tour of the distillery. Visit the Zugspitze Mountain: This imposing mountain with its rocky and rugged face is one of the most famous sights along the German Alpine Road. This mountain is a haven for skiers and is home to three glaciers as well. Meet your guide and take the cog railway to the Zugspitzplatt, and then from there, take the glacier funicular to the top. From here, all of Germany is at your feet! Take your time appreciating the view before descending the mountain and returning to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Hike the Partnach Gorge: This scenic and narrow gorge south of Garmisch-Partenkirchen will take you on a picturesque hike where you'll see magnificent waterfalls and wild rapids along the Partnach River. A series of tunnels have been carved out of the rock to make way for walkways, allowing visitors to walk the length of the river safely. After your tours for the day are complete, return to your hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen where the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 5 Garmisch-Parenkirchen, Berchtesgaden
After breakfast check-out of your hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and begin the drive to Lake Tegernsee before continuing to Berchtesgaden, where your hotel awaits. Upon reaching Lake Tegernsee you'll have the choice between a variety of tours: Boat Tour on Lake Tegernsee: Explore this beautiful blue-green lake on a relaxing lake cruise (to be paid on spot), reveling in the sunshine and the panoramic views of the valley and mountains. Visit Wallberg via cable car and Lunch at Panorama Restaurant: See Lake Tegernsee from atop the nearby mountain of Wallberg. Take a cable car to the peak where you'll have stunning views of the lake and the valley below. Finish off this delightful journey with lunch at the top (cable car and lunch to be paid on spot). Private Guided Tour of Cheese Dairy Tegernseer Land: Pay a visit to a local dairy co-op at the foot of the Wallberg mountain to see how artisanal cheese and other dairy products are made. Learn the process of dairy farming, see their sustainable farming practices in action, and take some of their cheeses with you! After these optional experiences, continue to the mountain town of Berchtesgaden to check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Located on the border with Austria and surrounded by mountains, this beautiful pocket of Germany is located near ski resorts, a multitude of hiking trails, and the pristine Lake Konigssee.

Day 6 Berchtesgaden
After breakfast, choose between the following tours within the Berchtesgaden area: Self-Guided Tour of Eagles Nest: Sitting on a perch overlooking the valley, the outpost known as Eagle's Nest was a lodge built for Hitler and presented to him in 1939. An elevator inside the mountain ascends the mountain where guests can tour the outpost, which has largely remained the same since it was captured by the allies as it was saved from any major bombings. Today the outpost has a beer garden and restaurant on site that guests can visit. Day Trip to Salzburg: Not far from Berchtesgaden is the Austrian city of Salzburg, renowned for its pristine Baroque architecture and for its history as a hotbed of art and culture. The birthplace of Mozart and the home of the von Trapp family, Salzburg presents the history of Austria in its splendid architecture and cultural activities. Take an optional private guided tour of Salzburg to learn about the city's history and modern-day life. Visit Salt Mines of Berchtesgaden: Travel into the depths of Berchtesgaden's 500-year-old salt mines on a guided tour through the 6,000 square meter underground complex. Board a train to explore the caverns and tunnels of this mine to find old industrial equipment on display. Self-Guided Tour of Lake Chiemsee: Known as the "Bavarian Sea" this picturesque lake is the largest in Bavaria and is a beloved recreational hotspot. The lake is blessed with three islands upon it, one of which (Herreninsel - meaning "gentlemen's island") is home to an incomplete palace commissioned by Ludwig II that was meant to be a replica of Versailles. Another island, Frauenchiemsee (meaning "ladies' island"), is home to a Benedictine nunnery that has been on the island since 782. After your day of tours are complete, return to your hotel in Berchtesgaden where the rest of the day is at your leisure.
